Slight delay since our last blog post that bragged we only have 3 weeks to go. As always things aren’t going entirely to plan!
The majority of the grade is complete, and there are only a few vfx shots left to slip in however the hold up this time is the music. Matthew Herbert, our original composer, delivered the score but unfortunately we didn’t feel it married with the picture in quite the way we envisaged. Matthew is now chocca block working on other projects so we have very fortunately been able to work with Michael Price (Hot Fuzz, Wild Child). We are very confident that with Matthew’s and Michael’s musical geniuses combined it’s going to be great so we are holding tight for just a short time.
With the amazing talent of not being able to sit still for a minute though we whizz off to Cannes on Monday at 6am for just 72 hours to drum up support and generally sell sell sell the film to all the industry types as well as discuss our brand new slate of projects. Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen!
You might have noticed in the meantime a series of new podcasts have been released, cleverly put together by Adam Tyler. A new one is being published shortly so we should soon be entirely up to date. Keep your eyes peeled on facebook, myspace, vimeo and the tailormade website etc for it.
And finally, Brek and Elizabeth both get to relax in June when they have both decided to take a holiday, a first in nearly five years. In case you were wondering it’s not together. Brek is off to sunny Grenada and Elizabeth is backpacking from Istanbul to Tel Aviv. As for me, I’m staying at home weaning my delicious twin boys 🙂 Over and Out for the moment.
