Only four days to go until the Island Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival!!! It’s an exciting and nerve-wracking time indeed.
The film is showing twice, once on Sunday 20th at 1.30pm and again on Monday 21st at 8.45pm. We are very fortunate that Colin Morgan will be attending on the Sunday, and Jane Rogers (the author of the novel) will be attending on the Monday. They will both be on the panel for the Q&A’s after the screening along with Brek and Elizabeth (Colin on the Sunday, Jane on the Monday!) so if you are able to come along then get preparing some juicy questions.
Tickets are available on the following website. http://www.glasgowfilm.org/festival/whats_on/2250_island
If you aren’t able to come to the Glasgow screening then don’t panic – we are in the process of organizing other screenings from London to Leeds, from Cambridge to Bristol – We’ll keep you posted.
and here’s a little interview from The List
And finally there will be a ‘Behind the Scenes’ special with Brek and Elizabeth on Wednesday 30th March at Film London. It is a free event from 6.30 – 8pm at the Film London offices in Shoreditch. So, to find out more about their 5 year journey and the practical and creative efforts involved please come along to this free event – booking is essential as limited places. To reserve your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org
